Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is written in English. Use your browser's translate feature for other languages; the English version is authoritative.
This Privacy Policy explains how BwSoft Management, LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal data in connection with the La Pared mobile app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”) and the website la-pared.app (the “Site”). We are the data controller for that processing.
The short version
- Your match video and audio never leave your device. Recording and processing happen on your iPhone or iPad; we never receive, upload, or store your footage or sound.
- To detect rallies, the App processes the recording on-device and sends us only anonymized, keypoint-recognized court actions — abstract movement data, never images or audio.
- That match-action data is processed on servers in the European Union and deleted within 24 hours.
- You sign in with Sign in with Apple; the only account detail we hold is your email address.
- The Site loads Google Analytics only if you accept cookies.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
1. Who we are & how to contact us
BwSoft Management, LLC is a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at:
- Email: privacy@bitworks-software.online
- Postal: 22667 Aspect Dr Apt 201, Boca Raton, FL 33428, United States
2. What we do not collect
We designed La Pared to be private by default. We never collect, receive, upload, or store the video or audio of your matches. Your recordings stay on your device under your control. We do not use facial recognition or identify individuals from footage.
Recording other people — your responsibility
Because your match video and audio stay on your device, you are the controller of that footage — including the images and voices of anyone it captures, such as opponents, partners, or bystanders. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and any venue or club rules when recording others, including obtaining any consent or permission that may be required and respecting their privacy and image rights. Do not use La Pared to record people unlawfully or without the permissions you need. Because we receive only anonymized match-action data — never images or audio — we do not process identifiable information about the people in your recordings.
3. Information we process
a. Account information
When you create an account you use Sign in with Apple. We receive your email address (which may be an Apple private-relay address if you choose to hide it) and an Apple user identifier. We use this to create and secure your account and to contact you about the service.
b. Match-action data (for rally detection)
The App analyzes your recording on your device and derives anonymized keypoint-recognized actions on the court (abstract positional/movement data). Only this abstract data — never your video or audio — is sent to our servers to detect rallies and return the results to your device. This data is processed in the European Union and automatically deleted within 24 hours.
c. Purchases
The App is free and offers optional Apple In-App Purchases. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your card or payment details. We receive your purchase/subscription status from Apple to unlock features.
d. App diagnostics
If you have enabled “Share With App Developers” in iOS/iPadOS, Apple provides us with Apple App Analytics — aggregated, non-identifying statistics about crashes and usage. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
e. Website usage
If you accept analytics cookies on the Site, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and usage (e.g. pages viewed, approximate region, device/browser type), with IP anonymization enabled. We also keep standard, short-lived server logs for security and reliability. Your theme, language, and cookie choice are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to us.
4. Why we process data & legal bases (GDPR)
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Provide your account and the App | Email, Apple ID | Performance of a contract |
| Detect rallies in your match | Anonymized match-action data | Performance of a contract |
| Process purchases | Purchase status from Apple | Performance of a contract |
| Website analytics | Usage data, cookies | Consent |
| Security, abuse prevention, logs | Technical/log data | Legitimate interests |
| Comply with legal obligations | As required | Legal obligation |
5. Cookies & analytics on the website
On your first visit the Site shows a cookie banner. Google Analytics is loaded only if you select “Accept.” If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Essential preferences (theme, language, your cookie choice) are stored locally in your browser and are not used for tracking.
6. Sharing & sub-processors
We do not sell or share your personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers (processors) who act on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Inc. | Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchases, App Analytics | United States |
| Akamai Technologies, Inc. (Linode) | Backend hosting / rally-detection processing | Frankfurt, Germany (European Union) |
| Google LLC | Website analytics (only with your consent) | United States |
7. International data transfers
Our backend that processes match-action data is located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany (European Union)). Apple and Google may process certain data in the United States; such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you use the App from outside the EU, your match-action data may be processed in the EU.
8. How long we keep data
- Match-action data: deleted within 24 hours of processing.
- Account data (email): kept until you delete your account, then removed (subject to any legal retention).
- Analytics: retained by the relevant provider per their settings.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and the on-device, never-uploaded handling of your video and audio — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but our privacy-by-design approach keeps the data we hold to a minimum.
10. Your rights (EEA / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, email privacy@bitworks-software.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (email, Apple ID), commercial information (purchase status), and internet/usage activity (website analytics, if you consent). We collect it for the purposes described above.
We do not sell and do not share personal information (as those terms are defined under the CPRA), and we do not knowingly do so for anyone under 16. California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and delete their personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@bitworks-software.online.
12. Deleting your account & data
You can delete your account and associated data from within the App, or by emailing privacy@bitworks-software.online. Your match video and audio already remain on your device and can be deleted by you at any time. Match-action data on our servers is deleted within 24 hours regardless.
13. Children
La Pared is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or on the Site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
